Message
The HL85103L is a single-channel, low side power switch with an integrated NMOS power FET. The device equips with thermal shutdown function at overtemperature or during current overload. Output current limitation protects the devices in an overload condition. In case of long duration during overload, the device limits the dissipated power to a safe level till thermal shutdown intervention. Thermal shutdown, with automatic restart, allows the device to recover to normal operation after a fault condition disappears.
The device also has short circuit protection function to prevent device from damage during hot short or permanent short conditions. For inductive load, the device can achieve fast demagnetization without external freewheeling diode.
The HL85103L can be used as a low-side power switch for resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to the battery. This device operates from -40 °C to +150 °C junction temperature. HL85103L is available in a SO-8 package.
